1986:: Shiny new bike

My training wheels were on a sunburst, banana-seat number, but this was my first real bike. It had an odometer. Jeffrey, my neighbor, said that he couldn't ride it because it would never ride the same after he went soooooooo fast.

My most common outing was to Kemps Butcher Block to buy tons of penny-candy and Little Debbies to hide under my bed for secret snacks. Oh, the secret agent I was!

Also note the dorky plastic beads and elastic waist band on my ... um, shirt.
